I like these rules, especially the ones unique to BoingBoing.
I like the 120 minus age scoring too. That allows us a centenarian.
A request to whoever serves as Adjudicator: provide players’ names and their respective scores with each update, and update when there is a (ETA: reported) “scoring death”.

Then you can sort the damn things
Also good just not month-day-year. that’s is just ridiculous.

I am pleased as punch to be the very first to even bring up the question of good taste and sensitivity.
And, having brought those up, I promptly abandon them.
I may or may not be in, provided I can get around to ginning up a list; I certainly haven’t a qualm about it.
I know somebody who’ll be on many of our lists, if possible with a sidekick.

As long as we’re arguing about sorting records, we may as well invite disambiguation and determine how many alternates too!
Do deaths of fictional characters count? Because I’m about 50/50 on whether Luke Skywalker makes it all the way to Episode IX or just pulls a “Yoda’s naptime disappearing act” on Rey.
There will have to be some kinda wait-n-see penalty clause just in case Force Ghost Luke wafts in sometime during Episode IX.
That’s pretty much a given, but I say if he ain’t breathing that still counts as a death.
Proposed rule:
If you put Betty White on your list, you automatically lose.
Hardly seems fair. We don’t see Rob Ford materializing to whisper “Help you I can” in Donald Trump’s ear, do we?
My rule amendment: spooks, specters, and ha’ants are disqualified.
WE don’t. That doesn’t mean that TRUMP doesn’t.

The goal (from my PoV) is to have a certain amount of grim fun.
It’s not like there’s a prize or anything and you might be way overestimating how much thought I’m putting into this.
