I know, right??
Thanks for the link.
Seems legit.
That’s not what schadenfrudede means. Did you read -my- comment? "
That’s what Trump does. Turnabout and shadenfreude are totally different.
The former is active, and the latter passive at least.
One.
Jesus Christ, Moby. I don’t care if you’re old and can’t use what ever electronics device you are posting from.
CAPITALIZATION AND PARAGRAPHS - you jackass!
Two.
At first I was going to roll my eyes, but all of that sounds like standard rumors. I bet parts of it are even true. They at least sound plausible, which is how the best rumors get spread.
Three.
Rumors are still bad, even against people like Trump.
Jesus Christ…now we are going to have to sit through another hour of listening to Greggor complain that Moby won’t give him his dossier back and is taking all the credit for it.
I think the real question here is … what does Michael Stipe know?
Careful Moby, under the new rule such talk is consider treasonous and is punishable by the room of endless spiders
Facts don’t do what I want them to.
Facts just twist the truth around.
And I’m still waiting…I’m still waiting…
I love that song so much.
Prophetic!
(Hoping now that isn’t also true of “Life During Wartime.”)
Indeed!
Would be nice if, for a change, the truth made it halfway around the world before Trump had his pants on.
I’ve actually had that line about enough “peanut butter to last a couple of days” in my head since the inauguration,.
Dude just fired (or was made to fire) Flynn, after…24 long days on the job, for communicating with the RF prior to the election. You gonna thrown out that “Let’s wait and see” nonsense, now?
It’s not a supposed “dossier”. It’s a real thing that was really written. Whether or not the things in it are real can be the subject of speculation, the veracity of it as a real document created by an actual intelligence agent isn’t.
On the main topic, Moby wanted to say some stuff so we’d know he was right when the facts confirm it. Well, I will definitely not resist the urge to say, “Hey, Moby was right!” if the time comes to do so.
The tell for me was hiring Rex Tillerson aka a guy who will greatly profit from lifting the Crimea sanctions which put a stop to the biggest deal of his career between Exxon and Russia.
The part about goading Iran into attacking our fleet to start a war – didn’t Sean Spicer already accidentally say exactly that? He was referring to some offshoot group that attacked a Saudi ship, but kept saying that Iran had attacked a U.S. Navy ship. Could it be he let slip his “advance briefing” for an upcoming Gulf of Tonkin episode?
This was the Houthi rebels, who are fighting a Saudi invasion of Yemen (essentially). They receive some material support from Iran, but are not an offshoot of Iran. They have their own aims and goals which are not just “do Iran’s bidding.” Unfortunately, much of our foreign policy establishment (democrats and republicans) can’t see this.
Most people don’t care enough about Yemen to make this a gulf of tonkin… we have no real troops there (despite the debacle of that raid by the SEALS and our backing of the Saudis as they continue to destroy Yemen). I think it’s unclear if this could be a Gulf of Tonkin, given how little most people know about the conflict… Maybe… but it will probably have to be a direct attack on a US ship by the Iranians (or the appearance of such) to get people’s buy in.
