The important thing is that you can objectively measure the sexiness.
If by âapply for jobsâ you mean barge into offices that arenât even currently hiring, and forcing everyone to sit through your powerpoint about 4th quarter earnings of 2016, then exclaiming âI get the job now, right?â
It depends on what the goal is. If you combine this with the idea that dick pics are nothing more than something that people can accept or reject in their search for a partner, it could be seen as equivalent to a CV. Sending CVs to companies that arenât hiring is pretty common. Not every guy is going to have this goal, and some will just want to shock people. Obviously the recipient isnât likely to see it that way, in any case.
CV maybe, though a lot of companies will ask for âno unsolicited resumes/applicationsâ, and many ask for no calls (much-less walk-ins) I picked the future financials powerpoint as the closer analogy as itâs like âwell, yes, weâll want to see that eventually, but only after weâve selected you, and youâve proven a worthwhile addition to the teamâŚuntil then, itâs just irrelevant, gross and boringâ
A weird inverted case of #notallwomen but yes it does happen.
There was this one user on community.imgur.com that posted something that read as an invitation for men to send her pictures and I PMed her warning that it definitely read that way to me and of course anything like that is strictly disallowed on Discourse by default, and was she sure thatâs what she wanted?
She replied that yes she liked getting unsolicited nude pics from guys. which took me so aback I actually did not know how to respond. So uh⌠er⌠good luck with all that? RIP inbox?
Also it is unfortunate the whole âso youâre saying⌠thereâs a chanceâ argument for dick pics is getting reinforced which is bad for everyone
This user was eventually permanently suspended for other reasons, which is unsurprising, I guess. Live by the âswordâ, die by the âswordâ.
Chix Nix Dix Pix.
So⌠in many cases, this is (clueless) men expecting quid-pro-quo, reciprocation, like for like (D pic for a V pic)?
Itâs not the dick pic that bugs me most, itâs that the guys doing this somehow think itâs both better than flashing someone and going to get them into bed with anyone.
If it was just the dirty aspect of sending it to someone the extra step in asking beforehand doesnât change anything unless what you are turned on by is the unsolicited part.
Also, since the internet is the great filterer (not the Great Filter, but maybe) even if itâs only 0.0001% (that number seems lows) and you have several million followers you could still collect a bunch of them.
Absolute. Utter. Total. Fail.
(I know you know that.)
No likes to giveâŚsorry!
It supposed to be âDevilsâ.
Iâm really just paraphrasing the reasons these guys have given, although that particular one was a suggestion of a possible motive given by a woman. A lot of them seem too ignorant to be true, but it keeps happening with people who have a reasonable level of intelligence in other areas, so⌠¯\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
I think the key ones to explain why itâs so common are:
- They donât think itâs that bad - they look at sexual images on their devices all the time
- They get their dating advice from porn
- They donât understand women. Like, at all.
- They have low self-esteem and this is their way to feel important
- Shocking women is exciting to them
Oh the stories about what kind of porn the engineers have been escorted off the premises for I have heard from the security guys⌠all that college education and not enough common sense to not use the work machine to look at that stuff.
That is just as intriguing, if not more so. What devils?
Either the New Jersey ones, or the penis ones, I guess.
NJ Devils! Gotta support the team.
Is that supposed to mean something?
âŚ
I might just try that some day. And I shall wear tweed, smoke a meerschaum pipe, and gesture pointedly at the audience.
