Well, some women do the double-sided stickum to prevent mishaps with dress gowns and such. May not be far from glue…
They’re often pinned into the clothes for various reasons–this is true of runway models too, it’s a cheat to make the fit look more tailored. I’ll wager this happens a lot and just being still and waiting to be repinned is SOP.
I’ve never followed one of those “The photographer just kept shooting” click bait headlines but something tells me this is exactly what I’d get.

Huh, I thought I had been really clever for using a big bulldog clip on the back of a borrowed shirt to make it fit right for an ID photo.
And what’s worse, I attached it myself, like a pleb, rather than waiting for someone to do it for me.
