Came across this while looking for something else entirely:
Malcolm Forbes: The Art of Motorcycle Touring; Driving a motorcycle across the country or around the globe begins with the right equipment – and lots of friends

How close is Tesla to actually launching the Cybertruck? 3 years out? And it’s price point will probably be double the Lightning. I don’t think they are even in the same market.
This concept is interesting. A kind of auxiliary engine. I thought it was just an oversized battery bank. Is this kind of thing street legal? I mean, could there be some kind of restriction, as it added engines to a car-trailer set that would normally only be passively towed?
From what I understand, this Testla truck is going to be a luxury product for hipsters, right? The electric F150 feels more like a product for people who just want a car.
It is just a concept at this point, with no immediate plans to make a production version. I’m sure that some laws would need updating before taking it on the road under its own power.
Genuine Hipsters™ can’t afford a $100k+ truck. It’s going to be a TechBro special. The Lightning will be scooped up by contractors who do mostly work in and around a city or local area.
