I haven’t watched it, though I plan to, but the really interesting thing to me is the narrative that “technological change is happening faster and faster than ever before” always requires a lot more nuance.

Smartphones rolled out slower than fridges. Electric cars maybe a bit faster than analogue computers (depending on your comparisons).

When I was a kid, the Phantom was my plane. I’m having trouble composing a post that acknowledges the fascinating technology of that aircraft and other war machines while recognizing the misery those machines delivered. Thinking often sucks.
