I get the feeling that some of the animals are just as freaked out as we are. Watching parts of that video, I could imagine what led the goats to gather in town - curiosity about where all the humans have gone. They check out the parked cars and the empty streets. Finally, they cluster in confusion after chewing on a few choice bits of obviously human-cut shrubbery… but no one comes to chase them away.

Yeah, there’s a certain amount of “WTF?” being expressed by the animals. At least I hope. The alternative is they’re like drivers who hang around a parked car, because they expect it to depart soon, so they can take its place…

Uh, oh. I’ve eaten a lot of curry goat in the past. 
If they show up in my neighborhood, let’s hope they aren’t trying to bump us off out of the way.
