This sounds like an excellent reason for the authorities to shut the gym down.
I know, I know.
I blame late stage capitalism and one of humanity’s truly closed loop, completely sustainable (for a given value of “sustainable”) resources: human stupidity, including but not limited to Fb et al.
As far as I can tell, they don’t. This quote is from someone named Trombetti, not the murderer.
This is like an auto mechanic shop that offers a free oil change to anyone who makes a point of never wearing their seatbelt…except that no such auto mechanic shop exists because that would be stupid.
But did you listen to the video where he explained the details about the accident?
/s. I didn’t. I saw the caption, “all I ask is that you listen to the details,” and I thought:
- Fuck no. I don’t owe you anything, certainly not to get to tell “your side of the story,” and
- There are no details after: “drunk driving” and “killed someone” that would make any difference.
We all have the right to actually do what we want to do
Since when?
Didn’t I see this guy at the Capitol on Jan. 6? Check the surveillance footage.
Nobody wins when the virus infects more people whether those people are anti-vaxxers or not. The end result is the same: spreading the virus to the wider population, giving the virus more opportunities to mutate into harder-to-control forms, further taxing our already-overwhelmed medical system and prolonging a pandemic that has already brought us a year of death, suffering and economic devastation.
Christ what an asshole.
“Sorry, Bro, that’s not enough free-dumb-if I can’t shoot guns and workout maskless, you’re a socialist nazi!”
So, he’s making up for negligently killing one person by “trying to live a good life, giving back, promoting as much positivity as he can”— and doing his best to negligently kill more people.
(Also: fuck his Gimli son of Glóin beard.)
Stupid is, as stupid dies.
I have often compared the statement “I have the right to refuse a mask” to “I have the right to drive drunk”, but it hadn’t occurred to me that someone might agree with me and therefore do both.
That’s what I thought. Then I thought, actually he’s right. Technically you can do pretty much whatever you want that’s within your means.
And then you pay the consequences.
That’s the part these maroons always forget about: the consequences.
You can tell the gyms that are actually concerned with health.
They are closed right now. If the gym is open, more about the money than health.
Can muscle-doping make one criminally stupid?
Well, generally stupid, sure, that’s actually a thing with some steroids, et al. Criminally, though? That seems very circumstantial/context-dependent ^^’ .
Definitely ‘stupid’ - so the business plan is to make this a den of covid by giving the anti-vaxxers free membership and charging the very people who this would most scare away (the smart people who want to be vaccinated) - this is so very under-pants-gnomy
(Also: fuck his Gimli son of Glóin beard.)
I foresee an obituary involving a terrible mishap with a paper shredder.
