I wonder if someone went around DeJoy’s back to post this online.

And I wonder if this is sincere at all. The UI is clunky to say the least, with large non paragraphed text that reads like propaganda of the highest order:

The American public can rely on the United States Postal Service to fulfill our role in the electoral process. We provide a secure, efficient and effective way for citizens to participate when policymakers decide to use mail as part of their elections.

I would love to vote by mail but TX makes it impossible for able bodied people to do so unless i decided to throw myself off some stairs or decided to leave the country.

This may read like propaganda but it also directly contradicts Trump’s narrative that we can’t rely on the Postal Service to securely and reliably handle our ballots.

To report law enforcement matters relating to Election Mail call a Postal Inspector at 887-876-2455.

“Hi, I’m calling to report an attempt to divert election mail by the President and Postmaster General…Sure, I’ll hold.”

Full disclosure: I was born in Austin, early 60s, when my parents were at UT.
I love Austin.
I hate what Texas has become.
