For the last 5 or 6 years I’ve been celebrating the end of one shitty year, and welcoming another, which, whatever it’s faults, can’t possibly be as bad as 201X. I’ve finally learned my lesson. i only made it through July before i couldn’t bear to look any more. jesus christ, what a year. the incredible photo of John Lewis’s funeral procession broke me, and i had to stop. 2021 can’t come soon enough.
