remember a story a few years back of day hikers getting caught up mountain when darkness fell, exhausting their smartphone battery by using the light before they realized they should have called for help…
Totally but I figure this one would be more for everyday use, like when you can’t find something you dropped under the couch. If you’re hiking you should have a better flashlight to begin with. But I hear you.
