Every Barbie needs this before her next camping trip in the backyard.
1/5th of the lumens than that of a common smartphone flashlight which you, most probably, are already carrying
Is this better than the little LED flashlights which were about the size of 2 quarters taped together?
Is it watertight?
'Cause if it clipped to my clothing, it’s going through the washer…
This one is meant for “sadly challenged” guys on in-car dates.
At Thanksgiving a few years ago a friend of a friend showed us this tiny light he had, roughly the size of the one here, that charged via USB. I have not been able to find that light anywhere. I ended up buying the “bullet” lights advertised here on BB a few years ago, and they were poorly designed (loop falls off = flashlight gets lost). This light looks like an improvement.
The Nitecore Tini might come close. There is a flashlight dedicated forum at https://www.candlepowerforums.com/ , which may know of smaller lights, a quick search there turned up the XTAR X-CRAFT.
I’d be tempted to attach it to my jeans zipper
I have had ones similar to this for years. One sits on my keychain and while it’s not the brightest in the world, it’s a damn sight better than nothing. It’s not always easy or smart to dig out your expensive phone when all you need is a bit more light.
But can I attach it to the zipper on my facemask?
I have a Fenix UC02 on my keychain. It’s about the size of the one offered here. It has a micro USB port and uses a removable 10180 Li-ion battery. Output is 10 lumens on low, 130 on high, i.e. pretty bright.
Maybe you meant keychain? If you keep a flashlight attached to your flashlight, then maybe you could just carry a spare battery.
(Thanks-- that looks like it.)
Well, I
But I really like flashlights
remember a story a few years back of day hikers getting caught up mountain when darkness fell, exhausting their smartphone battery by using the light before they realized they should have called for help…
Illuminated Pockets
This one was still to large for me. I bought the Streamlight Pico flashlight: it’s the size of a grain of rice.
