I have to admit, the snake in a tube just going for a ride was kind of adorable

I listened to a podcast last week about how we are terrible at imagining solutions which take away, subtract, to achieve improvements. This guy needs to listen to that.
How did the film deal with the fish-out-of-water ‘breathing’ thing? Or was that simply a required ‘suspension of disbelief’ thing?
To me, it seems like a serious reduction for prohibiting the flexibility the snake has.
Also, aren’t there already sneks with arms and legs that we call lizards?
His next move is to give spiders jet packs.
