In my neighborhood, I regularly see several different types of large birds. There are a set of small lakes with swans, geese regularly visit, and we have turkey vultures, too. We have given them political orientations. The swans are the alt-right swans, the geese are centrist democrats, and the vultures are the radical anarchists (because they provide a useful service to the community, by cleaning up dead critters). This new only reinforces my views…

Let’s not forget what those horrible bigotted ducks did to the poor cygnet in Hans Christian Andersen’s story.

Ducks know a Nazi when they see it.

This could fall under so many categories, but putting this here, because the first and most defenseless victims are those in cages.

Anchor babies are not a real thing, any more than Reagan’s “welfare queens” were a real thing.

The mother isn’t given citizenship so the only way a baby born in the US could lead to citizenship is for the mother is to leave the baby behind (or risk getting deported and becoming ineligible for a green card down the road), wait for it to become 21 years old and then apply for citizenship on behalf of their mother. The application would undergo the exact same vetting as it would for anybody else. How is this advantageous?

But hey, let’s just punish pregnant women trying to enter the US to further yet another xenophobic Fox News talking point, right?

“If the person needs an interpreter…” Holy shit, what the hell have we come to. 1930s Germany, but much faster decline? November, people. Last chance to save ourselves.

This was the worry when the program was initiated. They have data on these kids. Very easy to track them down, and obviously we need to get rid of all those valdedictorians, teachers and nurses. Fuck.

Saying the quiet parts out loud. Still shocking to some people, I guess?

On Facebook, Matt Burtell, who said Tom Burtell is his father, said, “His views of hate in no way represent my own. I stand in solidarity with the refugees and immigrants of the world.”

Good on you, kid!
