I think it’s less she doesn’t understand, and more she’s refitting her old storylines to fit her new naratives. They don’t fit well, but it doesn’t matter as long as she gets to express her hate.

I was doing a bit of googling to find what evidence is available to support claims that trans-women are just men trying to gain access to women’s spaces. Weirdly, all I could find were reports of trans-women being attacked. 
That, and reviews of a book by some guy called Robert Galbraith?

Well put, and it matches my experience as someone who transitioned in my fifties. I deeply regret having missed out on a girlhood I could have had if I had transitioned young, but I know that spared me a huge amount of the misogynistic bullshit, disadvantage and trauma that girls commonly face in my country.
And I did not grow up having to be ever wary of sexual violence and the default judgement that if I was a victim, it was somehow my own fault.
I had a different set of problematic stuff as a girl having to masquerade as a boy, which came with some of it’s own trauma, but I did benefit from the sort of privilege mentioned above.
One thing I’ll like to add about transitioning is that I feel misogyny against all women, cis or trans, far more personally. I was already angry about it but it’s surprised me how much angrier I’ve become. My commitment to fighting it has grown along with that.

You should support all women (including trans women), not just the ones punching down on others…
You post transphobic bullshit then that’s likely to happen. We actual give a shit about vulnerable people here and will push back hard against misinformation and lies. I hear that the message board at Newsmax and Foxnews would be more accepting of your gaslighitng bullshit. Maybe try to find some acceptance there…
