Obama endorses Clinton in online video, and urges Democratic Party to unite

I wish that seemed true. But it really doesn’t. I don’t think you need to agree with me in the least, nor do you need to like me. It’s fine. I’ll likely just avoid engagement from now on.

Good luck with your life. I do hope it gets better for you, because we all deserve that.

I was inviting you in to join us in a fun thread.

But you insist on being an unrepentant asshole.

You’ve told us stories of your stepdad.

If you don’t want to continue to behave like him, you’re going to need some serious introspection and a good governor on that mouth of yours.

Take a breath. We all have the right to post stupid stuff, and we all have the right to not like it. None of it is personal, even when it feels like it is.

Green Party candidate: Trump says ‘terrible things,’ Clinton does them

for the tl;dr crowd:

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein blasted Hillary Clinton as not being much different than Donald Trump, saying that while Trump “says scary things,” Clinton actually does them.“Trump says very scary things—deporting immigrants, massive militarism and, you know, ignoring the climate,” Stein said in an interview with Democracy Now, according to a transcript.

“Well, Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things."“So, the terrible things that we expect from Donald Trump, we’ve actually already seen from Hillary Clinton,” Stein added. “So I’d say, don’t be a victim of this propaganda campaign, which is being waged by people who exercise selective amnesia.”

On a positive note, both Clinton and Trump have record low favorability ratings, while third parties have an unprecedented reach thanks to social media. If Sanders could pivot his populist support to say, a VP position in Jill Stein’s cabinet, they might actually be able to win.

Mind you, I’m not saying that a Stein/Sanders ticket would win- I’m saying that with the amount of support he has, and as almost universally disliked as the two big party candidates are, if a third party were ever going to have a chance, now is the time.
