Is that just “bullshit”?
No, it actually isn’t. Each field has it’s own methods of doing research, it’s own goals in doing the research, it’s own means of thinking about the material they are looking at, etc. When someone in one field works with a scholar in another who works in a different manner using differ methodologies or when they are in one field and employ the methods of a different displine, that’s multi-disciplinary.
Scholarship, despite what right wing talking points might say, aren’t generally speaking ideological driven “educated guesses”. It’s real work that puts real knowledge into the world.
Well that’s all right, then. Thank you.
First you’re caught staring at the void. Next, you’re being hypnotized by the eerie music produced by the void. Then you realize that this void has nine lives, but you have only one…
This is why I spend too much time on the BBS.
Cats. Synths. Space. Three great tastes that go together.
Need a keyboard that fits in tight spaces?
I could practically see the knife-wielding maniac.
Fuck off Faux News…
Those responses are so good!
These are my favorites so far:
And
Fox News and Facebook did to my Dad what he said MTV and Nintendo would do to me.
Still wanna see this movie.
Lol that last one could’ve been from me!
Perfect companion for the world’s smallest violin.
Me, too. I think I’m on the cusp of gen x/gen y and it never shows up more than when it comes to the whole, “we danced in the backs of pickup trucks on the highways, while our parents were driving!” Or, “we brushed the cigarette ashes off our Lucky Charms and we were happy to have them!” It’s made it a challenge to empathize with people who don’t have the worldview that life = suffering, but I wouldn’t trade the experiences. Just glad I made it through!
IIRC, it was GenX that tried to cancel Faux News back in the 90s, but noooooo…
I saw it for free on either Amazon Prime or Netflix, but IMDB says it’s available on Pluto and Tubi, both of which are totally free.
Because there’s quite a bit of evidence pointing to the fact that being overly clean is causing loads of allergies and autoimmune disorders, as an immune system that evolved over millions of years to deal with near constant attacks from bacteria, viruses and parasites just can’t be switched off like a light switch?
There are actually quite a few scientists in the west who are testing them for things like MS , IBS, and so on:
I thought that experimenting with parasites for autoimmune problems was absolutely mainstream and uncontroversial at this point. We are long past the stage where gut flora research is controversial too.
Sterility has serious side effects.
