Ugh. I hate how both sides of the aisle are always willing to give even more money to the military than it asks for. To the “Defense” Department of our “peace-loving” nation. I guess because war is peace (and the ignorance of most of us means ever greater strength for the military budget).

I usually go around the block and clear the fire hydrants and the cars that haven’t moved, so they can shift to the other side of street for the plows to go through.
