An ancient Egyptian sarcophagus that went missing decades ago from the collection at Uppsala University’s museum has been returned.
The rare ceramic artefact, which dates back to at least 1186 BC, ended up at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts.
But how it got there remains a mystery, says Andreas Dorn, a professor of Egyptology at Uppsala University.
Funny how it almost seems like in the last one, the lamp being a ‘she’ is implied.
