It wouldâŚbut I donât see how this could possibly win. The precedent set would be that anyone could sue a News/Media outlet any time someone makes a negative comment about them on a story that was written. That would be a horrible precedence going forward and would 1) completely neuter the news and 2) put way too much power in social media/commentaryâs hands.
I mean, me neither, but then again, I thought the same about Trump! I agree with you about what it would mean, too.

His parents might be well-off, but these type of lawsuits are a few steps up from that.
There are a lot of people who would be more than happy with this precedent.
