I am just as stunned as you are that I’ve never heard of this before. But like the Tulsa massacre being somehow underneath just about everyone’s radar nationally, this needs more light shed on it. So thanks for that, Devon.

Well, white people, at least. I assure you that plenty of Black folks knew about Tulsa. White people just don’t want to know this stuff, hence the backlash that’s supposedly against critical race theory (which they can’t define) that is really a backlash against including uncomfortable truths about American history.
