I think this battle’s been lost. Sorry guys, time to focus on something we can win.
The species is already well below the level of viability, the population “bottle-neck” is so tight that even if the numbers were swelled by a dedicated captive breeding program, the species may be doomed by lack of genetic diversity.
With present technology…
If we get a lot of genetic samples in cryogenic storage, we might possibly be able to bring them back in the future.
