I heard something on NPR suggesting some doctors in Italy think some cases of pneumonia they saw in November and December were coronavirus-related.

At 9m40s in this audio segment: https://www.npr.org/2020/03/20/818797687/morning-news-brief

The evidence presented ā€“ ā€œstrange, severe pneumoniaā€ ā€“ doesnā€™t seem enough to conclude it was coronavirus, but the quoted Italian doctors think it was.

Yeah, I bet those polled just arenā€™t aware of the effects of his mismanagement yet. As best as I can tell, the US is still on track to lose 2 million people to the virus. I sure as hell hope that doesnā€™t happen, but if it does, I think most Americans will be ready to rightfully blame him for fucking this up.

Will they though? I mean, they donā€™t even hold him accountable to the things heā€™s doing in real time.

Instead of ā€œmost Americansā€ maybe I should have said ā€œ51%ā€

Thatā€™s a reasonable hope, I think

Nope. I think as long as he keeps saying heā€™s the real expert and heā€™s got everything under control, many, many Americans, probably most, will cling to Daddy Trump as tightly as ever.

Perhaps. But he did lose the popular vote, and so I still find it hard to believe that he is suddenly popular with a majority of the country. Popular with many, yes, but most? And once 2 million have died from this, he can keep saying heā€™s got it under control, but he canā€™t hide the bodies. People will notice that their friends and relatives arenā€™t around anymore.

He can maybe get away with shooting one, ten, a hundred people on Fifth Avenue, but surely he canā€™t get away with shooting millions on Main Street?

Ugh, but I really hope it doesnā€™t come to that. This shit is scary.

If you search for a doctorā€™s office or medical facility, it warns you to call ahead if you think you have COVID-19. Hm, useful without being invasive.

People are searching for doctors on Google Maps, and the service wants to prevent them from potentially infecting offices and medical specialists with COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. Google Maps now displays a warning for medical facilities that users should call ahead if they suspect they are infected with the novel coronavirus. Tapping through on the warning brings up the Centers for Disease Control and Preventionā€™s website and a page about what to do if someone is feeling sick. On iOS, the warning shows up on each locationā€™s listing, but on Android devices, it appears in the search results, too.

All he has to do is brag about how far more would be dying if he werenā€™t in charge. Most people will lap it up.

Thatā€™s very possible. I think that the pain many will feel could change the situation though. Especially if the US ends up suffering worse than any other country, which I believe itā€™s on track to do.

And weā€™re all tied up in the boot/trunk.

Weā€™ll get out of this, but it will not be because of our governments.

Watching this now. Dr. Fauci looks like he is about to stroke out. The idiots running this country are consciously killing us.
