On another matter: you reported earlier that clapping at the open windows around nine pm seemed to catch on. Didn’t here. But people who have children started to paint rainbows to their windows, and on the streets, sometimes with messages of hope to keep up the spirit. Seen about ten instances today.
Also, at the bakery and some shops, despite three to 30 people are allowed inside by the owners depending on size of the venue, people queue up politely and smilingly on the streets, and hold a distance larger than 1.5m.

The USA looks terrifying to those of us outside it. Not Brazil level of horror but my heart goes out to the good normal people from both countries living under crackpot fascists.
This article seems a fair summary of how it looks. Plus: how weird and authoritarian that random mid level managers get rung up by a president to be shouted at. That’s fucked. I remember people used to say you were nobody at Microsoft unless you’d had Steve Ballmers spit on your face. Heard horrible things about Intel too. America has a culture problem I think. Workers rights would help. Because if Leo Varadkar rang me up to give out (if he’d behaved like the US leader) I would have very little reason to listen instead of telling him repeatedly to resign and make way for someone competent.
