Moreover, those “empty” planes are still carrying crews between travel hubs. I wouldn’t be surprised if soon air travel is restricted to essential flights, but in the mean time Europe should absolutely suspend those rules or they’re encouraging the spread of the virus.

Part of me thinks this is an excuse. After all, look at the commercials. No one is using a roll-up cup. They’ve been pushing the app heavily.

Why? Cups don’t give you data. Apps give you data. But most people wouldn’t switch unless they were made to. However, simply switching would piss people off. Switching and saying it’s because of a pandemic? Well, now they look like the good guys.

They are also not allowing reusable cups. Much as I dislike this, I think it’s a reasonable step under the circumstances.

Oh, I am not saying there isn’t some reasonable parts. But it’s also a perfect opportunity.

You’ve also got to wonder: where are the cups made and printed? Are they destroying them all, this year, or did they have trouble getting them?

It’s not fully out of the goodness of their hearts is all that I am saying.
