Oh how I hope that this becomes a habit for most of us, including news orgs. I do not want to even know this person’s name, and I want to deny him any shred of the “glory” he may well have been seeking.
Nitpick: the Virginia/West Virginia border should not be present, if this is intended to show the states as they were at the time. WV was created in 1863 as part of the Civil War (VA being the Confederacy, and the western portion being Union.)
If this is showing modern borders over historical territories, then please disregard.

More that you can’t say that people who were there before that was part of the country (he’ll - before it existed) and whose extended families lived all through the region - not so much immigrating; are they?
Especially if they cross the border every day to shop and we want them to work here part of the year.
No one seems to be telling Mitt Romney to go back to Mexico.
