Odd time to bring up pride in Michigan, which I do appreciate, but this is supposed to be a more collective effort. As a nation we’re still falling short and even within Michigan we’ve got our own changes we still need to make. 2 Democratic senators, but we’re still a pretty purple state and it shows.

The OP is about the legislation stalling in the US Senate. The person I responded to erroneously blamed Michigan for this.
