Paralyzed, partially deaf-blind teen with brain tumor beaten bloody by TSA

This really needs to become a national grassroots campaign. I’d donate time and money.

How it actually works:

TSA Officer: Alright line up for me, that’s good.

Those of you who think 2+2=4 take one step forward.

* Sound of most people shuffling forward.*

Those of you who think it doesn’t take one step backward.

*Sound of minority shuffling backwards.*

Those of you who took one step backward, go home.

*Sound of exit.*

Those of you who took one step forwards, go home. The rest of you who didn’t understand the question, come with me.

WORD.

They lost my kid’s luggage on our trip back east last Xmas.

Her bags traveled back and forth 3 freakin times without us before we finally got them back.

I take it you haven’t attempted to drive across any oceans lately.

As someone who rarely gets on a plane except to leave her country, I find it odd how many Americans think their travel freedoms are only concerned with traveling within the US.

It would be well to note the non-Americans who wind up taking stopovers in Miami or Dallas or Los Angeles and have to deal with this stuff when the US isn’t even their final destination. This incident comes to mind:

Training? We don’t have a budget for training? There are the bonuses to consider. How else would we attract smart executives? If you follow me.

That’s great, but how the hell are we supposed to get there?

Teleportation?

I know, we could like, ask the TSA to look the other way, and sneak through! /s

Luggage flies without its owners a lot. Or at least flies separately. It’s only happened to me (that I’m aware of) on a layover situation and fortunately my luggage made it before I did because of reasons.

But if I had suddenly decided I didn’t want to make the final leg of my journey by plane (and my luggage’s flight didn’t take off before I made that change of mind) I’m pretty sure they would have pulled my luggage.

Especially when the bags belong to people who are such a threat that you have to beat them up, right?

Oh, I wouldn’t be too sure of that. Sometimes it’s easier to scapegoat a $10.00/hr employee then it is to fix a system in which $10.00/hr employees are put in positions to beat people up.

Hope all the shitbirds involved in this get cancer of the jaw and eyes.

Our security is not worth this.

You’re right. I had to fly to Hawai’i. I’m going to drive, if given a choice. I make a trip of about 700 miles on a fairly regular basis, and I choose to drive the (round-trip) 1400 miles via car every time. …and not because it’s cheaper.

I have no words for this level of stupidity by the TSA. Just another reason why they need to be gone…

Yeah buddy, thanks for the advice. I’ve been voting green/socialist for my whole life and it hasn’t made a bit of difference. Too poor to get out of the country, too, though I would if I could. Glad you were born somewhere nice and can lecture us, though. Make sure you tell all the groups who are stuck in shitty situations to fix their own shit. I’m sure that will help.

pft, voting for socialism.

If you think american electoral ‘democracy’ has a chance in hell of letting someone not wholeheartedly on board with the capitalist system take the reins, you…have a bit to learn, man.

Ah, more good advice, our electoral system is broken! Voting is useless! Time to grab mah gun and storm Washington! Viva la revolution! Am I right? You’re not offering solutions, you’re just being smug.

The problem is, as far as the Officer is concerned, there’s no downside so it is a perfectly good idea.
