Parrots as pets = monkeys as pets, pretty much. Both animal groups evolved frenetic, pecking order social groups (involving intensive bouts of biting/physical intimidation and screaming), and you can expect their out-of-nature behavior to follow both from their sociability, and from the regular use of biting/physical stuff and screaming.

This wins as I hate both classes of animals. Iâve never met a parrot or a monkey that wasnât an asshole. (My grandma had the latter, Iâve seen them overseas a bit, and lots of folks have had parrots.)

You may call them âwindscreen wipersâ but the kea knows that they are strips of concentrated fun.
