Victor von Doom, one of the most important and fearsome villains in the Marvel canon, has yet to be cast.
Now where are they going to find an actor who is willing to spend virtually all of his screen time with his face hidden underneath a fancy armored helmet?
if marvel play their cards right, this could be a massive opportunity to show the world that they can go toe to toe with Warner’s tax accountants.

Oh dear. Pascal’s good, and I’d really like to see a good FF movie, but so far they’ve all been bad or worse.

Funny thing, that character was portrayed by James Purefoy for the first six weeks of filming before they recast the part to Hugo Weaving, but due to the mask they were able to just dub over the existing footage.
Similarly it’s unclear just how much of The Mandalorian actually involved Pedro Pascal’s presence on set since at least some scenes used body doubles with Pascal just doing voiceover work.
No wonder he was wearing a mask.
