I loved this show when i was a kid… just excellent absurd sweet weirdness…
It sure was hard to get up before 10 on Saturdays, after Friday night shows and/or parties, but it was so worth it.
Everyone at the club on Saturday night screamed whenever someone said the secret word. A club fulla punks and goths, yet. Such a scream.
I loathed Pee-wee. It was loud, random, and disturbing. I couldn’t even watch the clip.
I never saw the appeal.
Yup, that sure sounds like childhood, allright.
Aye, but there were much worse things. (The “Club Mario” segments from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show come to mind. Or even the original live-action Mario segments, for that matter.)
THAT was the appeal…
God I feel old now, thanks lol. I use to watch this show every Saturday.
Miss Yvonne, excuse my stare!
But you have got the biggest hair!
So many, many great things on that show. Like Laurence Fishburne as Cowboy Curtis. “You know what they say - big feet, big boots!”
…and The Residents did the music for several episodes!
