When are we going to get Boston Dynamics* big-dog/spot robots patrolling the border? It’ll be amusing to see how they are systematically converted into hibachis. (“tear down the wall! tear down the wall! …and build drones or sumping”)

There are now some indications that people in Mexico had access to ladder technology prior to 2016. If only this information had reached us in time.

I still maintain that some portions of this wall should remain up forever, as monuments to stupidity.

I realize that it is a side point but what are they making 20 - 30 foot ladders out of that only costs $5?

He is unclear that ladders have a down function as well?

Also, in order to build the fence (almost none of which actually got built), they bulldozed a bunch of roads in places where there previously hadn’t been any - not only was this environmentally destructive, but it made it much easier for vehicles to cross the border from Mexico. (Plus, the Trump-supporting company that had the wall contract even made roads across the border in order to smuggle over undocumented workers to build the wall.) The situation the wall was ostensibly trying to fix was only made much, much worse in the process.

In Eastern San Diego County the wall is mysteriously disappearing, likely culprit is the good folks in Mexico are cutting it up for material multiple uses, and it’s all free curtesy of the US tax payer.

It’s a Win Win I tell you.

When did the hammer & nails with wood tech come along, it’s mind blowing.

Wonder what the going rate is. Berlin wall detritus is going for between $7-130 on ebay.

The poorest of the poor populate the US/Mex border, they need it for shelter is my guess. The large stanchions make great cross beams while building a roof, as well the smaller portions could be placed vertical to bare the roof load. I’m frankly gelly I can’t get some for my projects.

eh, good point, I did not think of rope ladders. Still those are $9 and you would need wood for rungs. I mean I suppose you could cut up some trees…

Apparently their socialist public school system has been teaching something called the Pythagorean Theorem, the function of which is to calculate the optimum length of a ladder. It’s like they’ve been planning this for years.

Give me 10 able bodied people, 10 cheap saws-alls, crate of metal cutting blades and that wall will be on the ground, could clear easily 100 miles a week. It wasn’t built by the Romans, it was built by scumbags cheating the US tax payers as cheap as possible.

Or tie knots and work on your shimmy, or make the kind of rope ladder with rope rungs.
