I remember this, it was hoped it could be released, and the Stones were cool with it, but their manager nixed it, for some reason best known to hisself.

It’s kinda bad until it becomes pretty fantastic.
As a long time PJ Harvey and Björk fan, the whole damned thing starts out fantastic and only gets better. It’s starts out with the Polly Jean 3 on 4 polyrhythm and somehow creates a more harmonically dark sound. Finally they bring the refrain into it full melodic form and that Björk growl is just the perfect added finish.
It’s a great song, and I wonder who does it better, the Stones, Devo, or PJ-Björk?
