Somebody thought this through

Carla, you know you ain’t even right for that accompanying photo; that’s all I’m sayin’…

I’ll add that @Carla_Sinclair please put a NSFW tag on the link. My work firewall doesn’t take kindly to this photo. Even if it’s rather harmless to most of.

Except the bleach that Melz now needs.

I should have never clicked on “expand article.”

Another furry post.

Seriously though, jelly of functional municipal governments.

You’re not helping, my friend.

There goes my appetite for lunch.

And yes, I’m also highly envious of countries that have a government which isn’t a 3 ring shit show…

NSFW, sure. But all the horror at a 60-somethign naked body? If you live long enough you’ll have an old body, too. Get used to the idea that not everyone is buff and under thirty.

I think you’re missing the distinction of this isn’t telling someone they are ugly or unfit. This is stating “I didn’t want/need to see that”.

I’m quite “used” to the idea, as I’m well past my 30’s, thanks.

O_o

You also just assume that it’s the age of the body and not the lack of upkeep which I personally find aesthetically displeasing, not to mention there’s also the inherent assumption therein that just because one gets older, one must ‘give up’ and just let his or her body waste away, when that doesn’t have to be the case.

I’ll thank you to kindly refrain from making such assumptions going forward, and to try asking me what I mean rather than jumping to conclusions.

Right there’s your problem!

I mean, it doesn’t actually bother me. Every body-type is fine. But I think the feels of the dude in the stock nude-beach photo will survive random jokes he’ll probably never read about man-buns on the internet.

Aww. Everybody has got a body. And paraphrasing the words of Hedwig*: it’s what they have to work with.

Edit: @orenwolf I wonder how trivial to include an #NSFW tag that a user setting would automatically filter out? Possibly one for images, and one for text?

*at least in the Off-Off Broadway production,

I’m not sure you can really apply that label to Barcelona’s government, especially when it comes to petty crime.

This is certainly nice and practical of them to do, but it’s just a bandaid solution after the fact. Even better that just a would be to also make efforts to catch and prosecute the insane number of pickpockets, scammers and thieves who work the city.

Yet not all bodies are pleasant to look at.

(If I have to shave, then so do they.)

Oh damn. I know there’s nuance in this, but the heart of me is so: shaving should make the shaved happy.

Must. Not…Overshare.

This really goes without saying but yeah, even if you were to go swimming (clothed or not) anywhere… the US or abroad, never leave your stuff unattended. If no one will be able to stay behind to look over everyone’s things then make sure the group leaves all the valuables (phones, ID, wallets, etc) in the car so if everything gets stolen its just beach gear.
