Mr. Bells had his car stolen about 10 years ago, and got it back with a trunk full of the thieves’ stuff. Prescription drugs (with the names of the thieves), CD-ROMS full of photos (of the thieves), several bags of clothes. The cops didn’t want any of it. They just copied down the names on the drug bottles and released the car.

It was kind of insulting that we had to dispose of a shitload of trash that wasn’t even ours.
