So, why DID the chicken cross the road?
To join @BakaNeko’s commute, of course!
Hard working chicken.
Took the youngest to the zoo today and managed to get some pretty good pictures. Here are some of my favorites.
Arctic Foxes
Bald Eagle
Lions
Crested Toads
King Vulture
You’re fine. That’s what this thread is for.
TARGET ACQUIRED.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a dislocated shoulder walking this beast around our neighborhood some day.
Fenton!!!
The jumping spider. One of the friendliest spiders. We have them in the house, they get relocated outside unless it’s winter, then they get to stay inside.
They eat mosquitoes, so, as the saying goes: the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Not if it jumps on my face!
my mama used to have this little saying to remind us not to kill spiders:
“if you want to live and thrive,
let a spider go alive.”
I would add this caveat:
if you don’t like spiders, stay out of the mangroves!
If you wanted to stick to her rhyme scheme you could say, “if you go to the mangroves, you will see spiders in droves.”
We’re camping on Lake Erie, the wife asked if I wanted to go for a bike ride. Nope. An hour later she comes back and says “get your camera and follow me”. Made the trip extra special.
