In this episode of Kitties Who Are High AF, we have Kuma and Ryuuko. Chill enough for the vet visit this morning. Hopefully. Blood will need to be extracted from at least the daker kitty. He has early-stage CKD. Probably blood from the orange floof too. He’s 10 and probably needs to start his yearly senior blood work

Alpha Cat is recovering from a rough round of dental treatment: extraction of her second canine and molar and draining a pocket of infection in her gums. She’s not quite toothless, but she’s close. She was ageless for so long, but in the last year chronic kidney disease and a probable thyroid tumor have taken their toll. She’s slowly and mostly gracefully ceding her alpha position to Bitey Cat.

My wife changed her mind and the name of the cat from now on is Ponkan, a kind of citrus with an orange peel. He is still quarantined, locked down in the office.
