Young snek found in our garage yesterday.
It’s a rat snake. The juveniles have these attractive patterns, but they are solid glossy black when they grow up.

This is how he’s spent most of our camping trip, sleeping.
Until today when he decided to run out the door and run under the RV into a mud puddle. He’s never run out the door. It was a fun time in our pjs on our hands and knees in the rain fishing him out.
He wasn’t happy about getting a bath on vacation.
This one poked her head out to see what all the fuss was about.

So it rained a bit the other day.
We still stopped for coffee at Annie’s.
The empty ramekin in front of him wasn’t always so. (Slices of ham).
Then snooze mode over the road…under my raincoat (his paws were a bit dirty, so he sits on my coat).
Tough day all 'round, really.
Some people accuse me of spoiling my dog.
