I am being stalked. It is almost 30 minutes untill First Dinner.
So sorry to hear. I knew it was coming one of these days, but that old dude had a lot of heart, so I figured it would be a while.
(we had a vet come to the house for our dog back in Jan – that was really the best thing for her)
This is Snoopy, he’s a feral that’s beens coming around for about a year.
There are 3 stairs down to a platform where we board our kayaks. Up until last week he had been making us very nervous crossing the frozen canal.
We’ve been trying to catch him to get him neutered.
tabby tummies in the sun:
ChiliDog in her window seat
BuddyCat on the porch.
my lazy kittehs, how i do love them!
Our teenage girl came up to bed so I put on some kitty tv.
I would think monster birds would scare her, but nope.
They love Reality Shows. I hope that your TV set is securely attached to the wall. I’m always scared that the cats will knock over the TV at our house.
Our cats loved this japanese show:
the princess, of the long legs above, really liked to watch me play Stray
I’ve posted about our daughter and her bunnies and then a cat they adopted that passed away within a couple months after a couple thousand in vet bills.
They said nope not again.
They changed their minds and rescued two siblings. But, within a week they both had infections so off to the vet. They are both fine now.
I don’t think kitty wanted to watch SOTU.
Finally, a couple of days without rain.
Managed to get about a quarter of the allotment strimmed and mowed.
Under supervision, naturally:
eta: You can literally see him tutting.
Here in Michigan you know it’s springtime because the muskrats come out and say hey.
This guy was under our front steps in the rain today.
I can’t imagine why we can’t get the vinca minor vine to grow under our tree. We planted it last spring, it should have been out of control by now.
This what it should look like.
We had a lovely walk this morning.
Halfway round, we met a couple of other dogs and their butlers.
One of the butlers says to the other - “Oh, no, she’s a right mix, not like Baillie there - he’s a proper pedigree.”
I could see the spring in his step immediately.
But I had to deflate his illusions of grandeur.
“Sorry, but he is also a mix. He’s part Poodle, part Yorkie, and part Sneaky Weasel”.
My little Yorkshire Terrorist.
Yeah, that makes sense…
“Do I amuse you?”
Also, my vote is for Kawaii…
