I really like the way the signs became a wall of hope and spirit, @FerrisWheeler. We didn’t have anything like that, so I only have a few photos of specific signs while they were being held. The rest of the time we were all moving, and I was trying to conserve phone battery too.
That sounds amazing!
I did not go, but the ATL police estimated about 60,000 downtown today:
Here are some from Chicago, from the internet rather than my phone:
(we were about 50 feet behind that fabulous red Trump/Putin sign: Trump’s head on one pole, Putin’s on the other, and the “P” in Trump was a sickle and star)
Very true.
The words are simple, but do not underestimate the power of mothers.
It’s the billionaires who are screwing u (and on the flip side, don’t blame Mexico.)
I would like to say that my friend is 84 years old, and she’s the one who suggested last week that we go today. (I made the hats, and damn it, the stores were all out of bigger, brighter pinks and only had pastels left.)
Oh yeah,in Portsmouth, NH. Kind of wish I had been home in Boston.
I marched near that poster at one point!

Saw one sign saying “vulva de resistance” . Can’t remember where it was from but it was excellent!
Came here to see clever signs. Was not disappointed.
To everyone who marched, protested, and/or reached out today: thank you.
You were the chaser we needed and the inspirational show of civic engagement and passion that we desperately needed.
I’m partial to “shed walls, don’t build them.” Which is weird, cause I’m a guy.
Feminazis Against Actual Nazis … best.sign.ever.
The “They Tried to Bury Us They Didn’t Know We were Seeds” sign is gorgeous.
I’m pretty certain the guy in white sunglasses holding up the “Patriarchy Is for Dicks” sign was near us.
And the woman’s sign “Locked Up by U.S. Prez 1942-1946 Never Again” … wow.
