Our new addition to the house (aka Cosmo) has been all around wonderful, heās painfully adorable and sweet that itās really too much to bear sometimes also it seems that his cat dander might be triggering my partnerās cat allergy, meanwhile the other 3 cats in the house havenāt. Itās a shame but again, heās SO sweet that my partner is ok with it. I should post some more kitten pics over there for you to enjoy
So sorry to hear about your partnerās allergy troubles. I hope it all clears up as they acclimate to each other. I wish I had some helpful advice to give on that point.
Iām going to call out @anon61221983 and @Melizmatic for helping to be more aware of my BB speech and my real-world speech re: women and their contributions to such.
Also, big props to @anon61221983 for helping me to demonstrate the proper use of āfemaleā vs. āwomenā.

True, but I find myself very consciously editing what I say, being careful to say āwomanā or āgirlā in my daily speech. Youāre pretty much the reason why I even considered this at all. Same for @Melizmatic
Iām new here & hadnāt really considered womenās issues beyond the pat platitudes I, as a cis/het male liberal, see all the time. Iād always considered myself progressive, but you two show me that Iāve got a lot to learn.

I hadnāt. I kinda try not to break the fourth wall for any show Iām a huge fan of. The saying is ānever meet your herosā and my thinking is in that vein.
