What? I don’t get it…

There’s a tiny mohawk-like tuft on the head I think. I’m only guessing that because of the hashtag at the bottom.

I am so confused by this post. What illusion? Dog feathers?

(And don’t get me started on the madness of capitalizing fall)

This whole story is apparently the optical illusion.

Um, if your dog has feathers, maybe it’s actually a dinosaur.

This is obviously 3 pictures of the exact same dog with the exact same fur and no feathers whatsoever. Tsk.

Optical illusion of what? I see a dog, is it not a dog? If not then that’s a vera good illusion!

As best I can parse it, based on coloring, the dogs trimmed legs make it look like she has much thinner tan legs on a white background.

Maybe?

I don’t know what I’m supposed to be seeing here. Is it because I’m not a dog-person?

I think they mean the brown stripe down the center of the legs looks like super thin legs. The brown carpet spoils the illusion. Might work better against a white background so the real outer edges of the legs do not stand out so much as they do with the contrasting carpet.

I think the illusion is very well done. I don’t see the pretzel anywhere.

Pretzel? Damn, I was looking for a leopard.

Thank you. I was struggling to be confused by the photo of the dog.

The frizzy soft hair she has left leaves her legs looking mighty tiny here.

Ummm … no it doesn’t.

Here is what the de-feathering looks like without the backlight.

Ummm - the same? And… what backlight, exactly? I see no backlight.
