D-Fens? That you?
Don’t trust the ad pics. When you actually open the box, what you see has the rough proportions (and flavor) of a hockey puck…
Mmm…hockey puck.
It is not called the “middle bun” or “mezzanine bun.” It is called the club, as opposed to the crown, on top, and the heel, on bottom.
I think it was a mistake to increase the height of the double Big Mac through extra small patties rather than simply move to two quarter pound patties and increase the diameter of the bun segments to, say, the same diameter as the Whopper. They could call it the Big Whoop.
So, around one cent per calorie. That’s a big jump- The McDouble was $1 for 400 calories at one point. Admittedly, not everyone has been in a position where you had to think in those terms, but still.
Where do you find an $8 steak?
Reno, baby
I lived in Vegas for a year back around the turn of the century. I figured out pretty early (but still embarrassingly late) that the Station casinos had approximately the same caliber of buffet for 1/3 of the price as the places on the strip. Then I learned that Sam’s Town Casino & RV Resort down Boulder Highway had a $2 steak and egg buffet.
The buffets are about the biggest thing I miss about Vegas.
If you’re budgeting on cost per calorie, yeah, those are better.
I’m budgeting (mainly) calories. Fast food is not on the list of things for 1000 calories.
Most McBurgers look like someone sat on them before you get them, so I’d expect this to look the same.
If what you actually got was as appetizing as the photos, I’d consider it. As it is, the last Big Mac I had was so dry that I mistook it for a hockey puck. I used to like them.
Missed opportunity
… I am having trouble getting an A.I. to produce a product image more ridiculous than the real thing
Well, tomorrow I plan to stuff some jalapenos with cheese, fajitas, and cream cheese, then wrap tham with bacon, then airfry them. Should last for several days.
Not gonna butter the bacon, though.
Too much fat.
We are the lizard people
I misread that as
