A long time ago I was watching Casino on a basic cable network and they got to a scene where Joe Pesci’s character basically has a three minute speech that’s vitally important to the plot, but every third word is something you can’t say on television. Instead of bleeping out the profanity, or dubbing over the swears with a Pesci sound-alike like they had for the rest of the movie, they got that actor to re-record the entire speech. It started out okay, but as it went on the poor guy had more and more trouble maintaining the Pesci impression so that by the end it, when it switched back to real Joe Pesci, it was really jarring.

I saw Midnight Run on cable about 20 years ago. The entire last half of the movie is incomprehensible because they had to bleep every third word.
