We’re infringing on their territory, so it’s incumbent on us to not spread across and through the woodlands indiscriminately and expect to not have these kind of events occur.
The Coyote population in North America has substantially increased since Western society began settling the continent. They do very well in big cities, even checking for traffic before attempting to cross a road.

It all started here…
Prior to this, the cops treated the punks in LA like a weird oddity. But at this show, someone called to complain cause some punks were apparently throwing bottles outside where they were playing, and the cops came and just basically shut down the show, pushed everyone out and started rounding people up. From then on, the LAPD would regularly crack down on punks outside of shows in LA. Of course, Black Flag did a whole song about it…
