remember that when this is over because he needs to be recalled/impeached
ps. why aren’t they asking him about his current drinking habits, that’s a completely fair question for a lifetime promotion of this magnitude

Agreed, except for that part, “to be fair.” Since, yeah, being blackout drunk is no excuse for any sort of bad behavior. (Not that I think you were saying it is.)

He was CONSTANTLY making arguments that amounted to "I got great grades in HS/College, therefore I could not have been drinking alot, nor raping people." Really? You can’t “work hard / play hard”? The guy was in DKE. DKE. The reason for DKE’s existence was jocks falling over each other getting drunk while they werent date-raping the coeds. I’m somewhat annoyed the Senators didn’t pick up on this obvious bit of fraud, but then again, they only had a precious 5 minutes to question the guy, before the mic was handed back to the GOP trolls.
His other bald lie was that he never say Judge Kozlowski making lewd or inappropriate comments. Kozlowski was so open about his lewdness, he had a whole mailing list to broadcast his non-funny jokes to all clerks, present and past. He was constantly making comments about his female interns, asking their opinions on this or that new pornography he had recently obtained.
Oh, and that thing about “ralphing”/vomiting. He claims that he has a “weak stomach” so he had a fey reputation for constantly vomiting-- weak stomach! Not at all because he was constantly drinking so much he had to puke!

I would say it means the opposite.
If a person has frequent blackouts/memory loss for whatever reason. They cannot say reliably that an event did or did not happen. They can only say truthfully they don’t recall an event. But of course that is what memory loss is.

I’d like to see someone take the full Kavanaugh opening statement and edit it to colorize the liquid in his glass to a beautiful oak-aged amber. Seems like every time he took a swig, his look said he wished it was something stronger than water.
