Sounds like West Philly? Sister-in-law had a similar house in West Philly (six bedrooms), but she sold it and moved to suburb near Lower Marion. While she lived there, she rented out the third floor. I think she paid ~$120,000, never did any improvements, and then sold it for $200,000. (The fact that she did nothing to it makes me cry.)

Shouldn’t the house be fairly sound, since they’ve been working on it for 12+ years? Isn’t it hard to fix up everything when you have 3 home-schooled daughters and are somewhat active is soc-justice circles so that only one parent has a paying job at a time?
