To encourage visitors? Wouldn’t you hate to trek all the way out into the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night and not be able to get fries and shake? Wouldn’t seeing those big, familiar Golden Arches lighting up the sky for miles around calm your soul?

Do you have any idea how relieved I was that a $1 glow-in-the-dark halloween-candy-collecting-bucket from Party City* was enough to bribe the Boy away from McDonald’s last night? And that he stretched his comfort zone to include IHOP? And that is considered a victory in my current world?
