Did I in some way offend? I was speaking in defense of inverted spoons, not addressing the wider point of stock art stereotypes. While we have all used spoons, many commentators seemed to be saying there is something inherently offensive about the manner in which the spoon is held. I said I don’t think so. Not sure why the snark.

In the stock photos, yes, there is… I doubt when getting the last bit of yogurt off a spoon, you lick it seductively and make bedroom eyes at someone just off camera… That’s the misogynistic part, that it objectifies women.
