This is great. Most people don’t know the technical and artistic achievements of the FB studio rivaled Disney at the time.

3D backgrounds, mixing live action and animation, “adult” oriented subject matter, the detail and cinematic action of the Superman films, so much to love, so glad they are restoring what they can.

They seem to have removed absolutely all of the frame jitter from the intro title sequences, which gives them a real uncanny valley feeling. Fortunately the main part of the films haven’t been quite so perfectly cleaned up. Glad to see they’re preserving this part of history!

Oh yeah! Disney was jealous at their human form animation.

I LOVE the old black and white Popeye and the Superman cartoons!!
